The aim of GUMC'S curriculum is to foster social, artistic, moral, spiritual, and intellectual development in our children through their own activity and discovery (play with a purpose). We want to guide them as they master tasks. Our Responsive Classroom approach creates an environment that enables students to become confident in their ability to learn as they grow to to trust themselves as well as others. Building on Theme! GUMC's theme-based curriculum is developmentally appropriate and carefully planned with relevance to the child's intellectual and developmental achievements. It is designated to nurture, expand, and extend the child's life experiences. Our teachers will provide tools for this learning through a variety of hands-on activities and differentiated teaching strategies.
