On behalf of our entire preschool staff and board here at GUMC, we welcome our new and returning students and their families to the 2026-2027 school year!
We are thrilled to partner with you during this special season of your child's life. Our school theme this year is based on 1 Thessalonians 5:11: Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. This verse serves as a powerful blueprint for building a lifelong, unshakeable foundation in young children. At GUMC Preschool, we view every child as a unique gift from God. Our dedicated teachers are committed to creating a safe, loving and supportive environment where children can grow academically, socially-emotionally, physically and spiritually. Our engaging curriculum weaves together academics and purposeful play-based learning. By teaching our students that they are uniquely valued by God, we strive to build a secure sense of identity and confidence. Through kind words and Christ-like love we encourage and build one another up. Preparing your child for kindergarten readiness is a primary goal, but true readiness goes far beyond knowing letters and numbers. When children enter kindergarten equipped with social-emotional resilience and a knowledge of how to encourage and get along with others, academic success naturally follows. We look forward to sharing this journey with you and continuing to build our GUMC community, where children, parents and staff form deep, lasting friendships rooted in mutual support.
